Professional Practice System
Your first profesional experience in Australia
How does it work?
Each student is assigned a company to carry out their professional practices while they complete their studies. These practices are part of the weekly coursework and the final performance evaluation of each student.
Your first contacts in the industry.
Each student who pursues automotive certifications must complete a certain number of field placement hours.
To support them in this process, we have developed a network of contacts with automotive companies throughout South Australia. These partnerships allow us to offer our students real professional experiences and a first contact with the job market.
In which companies could I work as an international student?
Currently, we have more than 40 partnerships throughout South Australia, such as Toyota CMI, Auto Fast, ABS, and more.
Thanks to the professionalism and performance of our students, more and more companies are interested in joining our partnership and starting to work with international students.
An opportunity to secure my first job in Australia?
We have numerous success stories of students who, thanks to the professional practice system, have secured their first part-time or full-time jobs in Australia. For some of them, the program was even the first step towards fulfilling their dreams of a skilled or sponsorship visa.
As an educational institution, we cannot guarantee that the company where you undertake your practices will offer you employment, but we can assure you that this is a great opportunity for you to showcase yourself, make your first industry contacts, and experience what it’s like to work as a mechanic in Australia.
